Essex Opportunity Scholarships

The University of Essex offers Essex Opportunity Scholarships for students from Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, who enrol at the University of Essex in October 2009.
How much is available?
The scholarships will be to the value of £1,000 for full-time students and £500 for part-time students, which will be paid to the student at the end of the first term of their course.
For courses lasting more than one year, further payments of £1,000 or £500 will be paid each academic year until graduation, up to the standard number of years required to complete the course.
What does the scholarship cover?
This scholarship aims to contribute to the living costs of eligible students, as we are aware that the cost of living while at university in the UK can be significantly higher than in their home country.
