One of South Korea’s prestigious academic institutions, Dong-A University (DAU) seeks applicants for one full-time, tenure-track position who are committed to preparing students for a competitive and globalized working environment. You will become a founding member of DAU’s new Global Leaders Program (GLP): a dynamic, diversified, curriculum taught in English with the purpose of cultivating leadership characteristics to an elite group of motivated students.
The applicant must be a native or native-level English speaker. Applicants should have a PhD degree in the relevant discipline with relevant teaching experience and a sound track record in research and scholarly activities. A PhD by the appointment date is acceptable.
Remuneration
* Salary: Minimum salary 50 million Korean Won, adjustable based on applicant’s qualifications and experience (approximate exchange rate: US$1 = Korean Won 1,200). * Research Grant: Generous university research grant, in addition to salary, awarded upon meeting certain publication conditions: o 4 million Korean Won for newly employed, o 8 million Korean Won for published SCIE, SSCI, or A&HCI articleAppointment will normally be made on an initial fixed-term contract of two years, renewable subject to mutual agreement.
