Ph.D Phd Vacancies in Data Mining, Social Network Analysis and Web 2.0

at University of Kassel in Germany

At the University of Kassel is in the context of the Hessian State offensive to the development of scientific and economic Excellence (LOEWE) of interdisciplinary research center, “making techno-social networking in situational ubiquitous systems (VENUS), is established. The aim of the focus is to explore the technical socially acceptable, economically sensible and legally possible design of ubiquitous systems, taking into account the interactions between technology, users and social networks. In the specialized knowledge to be processed by 1 January 2010 to begin two years, the following points will be awarded:

* 2 jobs for scientific ® Mitarbeiter (in) (TV-L E13, full day). * We are looking for highly motivated employees who want to conduct research at the interface of data mining, social network analysis and Web 2.0. That knowledge is in one of the areas of data mining, Web 2.0, Social Network Analysis, Semantic Web and programming knowledge is an advantage.

If you have a very good university degree in computer science, mathematics, physics or a related field, pursue a PhD and are interested in team-oriented research on international level in an interdisciplinary team of computer scientists, mathematicians and computer industry, we look forward to receiving your application.
